Staying safe from COVID-19 when picking your own fruits and vegetables:

  • Do not allow children to stray from the group. Keeping your whole group together keeps your family as well as others, safe from exposure.

  • Find a good spot and pick everything there. Try to limit moving around the field too much. If you see a spot with a lot of ripe berries, pick them all. This will help prevent multiple people touching the same plants. If you need help, find an employee - they usually know the best places to pick.

  • Please keep your mask on at all times. Remember, you are handling food. Act as you would in the supermarket, do not touch what you don’t intend to buy, and don’t eat in the fields. You will not be able to enter the fields without a mask. We will have some for purchase if necessary.

  • If we decide the field is too full, you may have to wait in your car for a little bit. Coming during the week on off times (before noon) will help ensure getting into the fields quickly.

  • Large Purses, backpacks, coolers, or any other large bags will no longer be permitted in the orchard.

  • Golf cart transportation will not be available.

  • Bathrooms, hand sanitizer, and hand washing stations will be available. It is always smart to bring your own and use the bathroom before you come.

  • As always, pets are not allowed on the farm. In compliance with the Food Safety Modernization ACT (FSMA), no pets of any kind (with the exception of service animals protected by the ADA) will be allowed on the property. Emotional support animals are not considered a service animal and will not be allowed on the property.

Please try to remember, these new rules are as new to us as they are to you. We are trying our best to keep our employees and customers safe during these trying times. Thank you for being patient and coming out and supporting our business, we hope you have a great time!
